SYNESTHESIA GAME DEMO

// ux design

[Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels]

In this project, we were tasked with using Figma to create a UX-based website centered around a topic of our choice. I opted to explore synesthesia, a fascinating neurological condition where the brain simultaneously perceives multiple senses. My design concept revolved around the experience of seeing colors when hearing music. While everyone has different experiences with synesthesia, I thought it would be enjoyable to merge those experiences together into a fun game.

I created an engaging interactive game tailored for individuals with synesthesia. The game’s primary aim is to provide players with a piece of music and challenge them to a creative task. Two participants listen to the music simultaneously and, within a 60-second timeframe, express the colors and shapes they perceive. Upon the timer’s expiration, the game’s automated AI seamlessly merges both participants’ drawings, resulting in a unique and collaborative work of art. The video is a demo of the game being played between two players.
